Anti-Racist Reading Group
Once a month, we come together to discuss our thoughts, what we’ve learned, and what we can do in our own lives and institutions to address systemic racism.
Next meeting: POSTPONED
What we’re discussing: All In: The Fight for Democracy.
When the U.S. was founded, only free white men who owned property had the right to vote. Although as a society we have expanded voting rights to include women and people of color, we have not yet arrived at a perfect democratic system. As we come closer to Election Day, join us to discuss the various forms of voter suppression that are alive and well today, and how we can fight to overcome them.
We will also discuss anti-racist action items and personal projects we want the group to hold us accountable for. More information on topics we’ve previously discussed can be found here.
This is a virtual event held on Zoom, with links emailed to pod members and our Slack channel. Not a pod member? Join us!
